  1. Apple MFi

    How to verify Kingminson's MFi authorization?

    If you would like to verify our official status, please follow these simple steps:

    1. On the page, simply check the box for I agree to Apple’s MFi Non-Disclosure agreement (no need to read the long text, just check it).
    2. Click “Agree & View List” at the bottom right to enter the directory.
    3. Type “Kingminson” into the search box at the top right of the page to confirm our membership and product categories.

    How to verify our CE / FCC / UL compliance?

    • CE: Find the four-digit Notified Body (NB) number on the certificate, then search it in the EU’s official NANDO database (ec.europa.eu/growth/tools-databases/nando). Confirm the body is still authorised for your product category — an expired or withdrawn authorisation invalidates the certificate.
    • FCC: Locate the FCC ID on the product label or test report. Enter the first 3–5 characters (Grantee Code) and the remaining characters (Product Code) into the FCC ID Search database (fcc.gov/oet/ea/fccid).
    • UL: Search the UL Product iQ database (productiq.ulprospector.com) by company name, UL File Number, or Category Control Number (CCN) to confirm the listing is active.

    How to verify our ISO 9001 certificate?

  4. Use the IAF CertSearch global database (iafcertsearch.org), the official platform for verifying accredited management-system certificates. Enter either Kingminson (company name) or the certificate number printed on our ISO 9001 PDF. A valid record will display the certification scope, the certification body, and the accreditation body that issued the certificate. Note that IAF CertSearch requires a free account to view full details, and anonymous users can verify up to 5 certificates per day.

Compliance FAQ

Can you supply the certificates before we place an order?

Yes. Request the compliance package and we send the authorisation reference, the model-level reports that already exist for the configuration you are considering, and the list of items still open. Procurement teams usually need this for internal approval before a purchase order exists.

Do you provide test reports for a specific market?

Tell us the destination market, the model and the sales channel. We confirm which reports already exist, which apply to that configuration, and what would need to be commissioned. We do not present an existing report as coverage for a market it was not issued for.

Is the Google NDA a certification?

No. It is a confidentiality agreement that gives access to platform documentation. Product-level platform status is a separate question and is confirmed per model and firmware build.

Can we audit the factory?

Yes — in person or remotely. We run live video walkthroughs of the production floor for buyers who cannot travel, and we accept third-party audits arranged by you. The scope of the facility is described on the factory page.
